Wisq SMS Terms of Service
Overview
These SMS Terms of Service (“SMS Terms”) govern your use of the text messaging service (“Wisq SMS”) offered by Wisq, Inc. (“Wisq,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
The Wisq Service and Wisq SMS are made available to you through your employer’s or organization’s agreement with Wisq. By sending a text message to the Wisq SMS phone number provided by your HR team, or by otherwise enrolling in Wisq SMS, you agree to these SMS Terms.
These SMS Terms supplement Wisq’s Privacy Policy and the agreement between Wisq and your employer or organization.
Wisq SMS Description
Wisq SMS allows you to interact with the Wisq Service by text message. Messages you may receive include:
- Responses to human resources (“HR”) questions you ask
- HR support and guidance
- Case and request status updates
Wisq SMS does not send marketing or promotional messages.
Enrollment and Consent
You enroll in Wisq SMS and consent to receive text messages from the Wisq Service by sending a text message to the telephone number for Wisq SMS provided by your HR team.
Using Wisq SMS is optional, and is not a requirement for your employment, receiving any HR service, or accessing the Wisq Service. You may use the Wisq Service through any method configured by your employer or organization (such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, email, or the Wisq Service app), and you may contact your HR team directly at any time.
You must be at least 18 years old and the owner or authorized user of the mobile number you enroll.
Message Frequency and Cost
Message frequency varies and depends on your interactions with Wisq. Wisq does not charge you for messages sent or received through Wisq SMS, but your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates apply based on your plan. Contact your carrier for details.
How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message from Wisq SMS to stop receiving text messages. You will receive a single confirmation message, after which Wisq SMS will not send further messages to that telephone number.
You may re-enroll at any time by texting START to the Wisq SMS number provided by your HR team.
Opting out of Wisq SMS does not affect your access to the Wisq Service through any other channels, and does not affect any HR request already in progress.

Supported Carriers
Wisq SMS is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Carrier support may change without notice.
Privacy
Your use of the Wisq SMS is subject to Wisq’s Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Under Wisq’s Privacy Policy, your mobile phone number and the messages you send and receive through Wisq SMS (“Wisq SMS Information) are personal information that you knowingly provide to us.
Consistent with Wisq’s Privacy Policy, Wisq will not itself use or provide your Wisq SMS Information to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. As described in the Privacy Policy, your Wisq SMS Information may be shared with subprocessors and service providers to deliver Wisq SMS and the Wisq Service.
Messages you send and receive through Wisq SMS may be visible to your employer’s/organization’s HR administrators in the same way as your interactions with the Wisq Service through other channels.
Wisq SMS is not encrypted. Do not send sensitive information through Wisq SMS, whether that is sensitive personal information or your employer/organization’s confidential information.
Accuracy and Limitations
An artificial intelligence assistant generates the Wisq Service’s responses, including those sent through Wisq SMS. The responses may be incomplete or inaccurate. Wisq does not provide legal, tax, medical, or financial advice. For decisions that matter, confirm with your HR team or a qualified professional.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date below reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated by SMS or email.
