Why We Exist

HR is often consumed with repetitive, administrative work, limiting its capacity to focus on more meaningful, people-first work. With the rise of generative and agentic AI, we saw an opportunity to change that by building not just a tool, but a true teammate for HR. So we founded Wisq with a bold vision: an AI-augmented workforce where humans and technology work together to help people do the greatest work of their lives.

Our Founders

Wisq was founded by Jim Barnett and Chih-Po Wen. Jim was CEO and Co-founder of Glint, the leading employee engagement platform. Jim has spent two decades at the intersection of HR and technology, and his personal mission is to help people be happy and successful at work. As CTO of Glint, Chih-Po Wen built Glint's engineering organization from the ground up, scaling Glint into an industry-leading platform before its acquisition by LinkedIn. Together, they founded Wisq to build what AI now makes possible.
